Washington State Hospital Association seeks a Senior Data Analyst to gather requirements, develop dashboards, and deliver reliable health care data insights. You will lead data collection, build visualizations, and train members on data interpretation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Association staff, production of complex reports, and ongoing improvement of reporting capacity using Tableau Server, Interworks, Snowflake, and open‑source tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required at hire.
• Minimum of four years data analysis experience in a professional office setting.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, SQL Server, or Redshift, and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Python or R.
• Experience with APIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex data analysis and reporting to support Association staff and members.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and enhance analysis with insights.
• Develop, prepare, and present reports and dashboards for distribution to Association members at state, hospital, and unit levels.
• Create educational materials and training on data analysis and measure definitions.
• Query and structure data for Tableau dashboards and Snowflake integration.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement through data analysis.
