Job summary

Great Minds, a remote-friendly education company, seeks a Senior Data Analyst, Enterprise Analytics to lead high-impact analytics initiatives across the organization. You will design semantic models, build enterprise dashboards, and partner with leadership to translate data into actionable strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or data-focused roles with accountability for analytics deliverables from framing through delivery.
• Advanced, hands-on fluency with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar), including complex query work and performance tuning, on a cloud platform — Azure preferred, AWS also relevant.
• Comfort using code to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data (Python).
• Experience designing and maintaining a semantic model or metric layer serving multiple audiences with dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience bringing software engineering discipline (version control, code review) to analytics.
• Experience reconciling messy systems of record such as CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms.
• Experience building validation checks after data quality issues.
• Track record of turning vague stakeholder asks into scoped projects and communicating results effectively.
• Experience mentoring others or setting standards that outlast your involvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to frame ambiguous business problems, shape the analytical approach, and deliver solutions that hold up under real decision-making pressure.
• Resolve conflicting metric definitions across departments and establish shared business semantics.
• Design and own semantic models and reporting frameworks for multiple departments, balancing performance and governance.
• Integrate data from CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms to produce durable insights.
• Architect and maintain enterprise dashboards emphasizing long-term accuracy and maintainability.
• Document reasoning and metric logic so others can pick up the work later.
• Set standards for analytics work to raise the bar across the organization.
• Mentor analysts and enable self-service users to build data products.
