Ascend Learning seeks a Senior Business Analyst to own the end-to-end data management and reporting lifecycle, partnering with business leaders and technology teams to translate complex objectives into clear requirements and actionable data products.

You will balance priorities, design testable user stories with acceptance criteria, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring solutions are accurate and sustainable.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience researching, analyzing, and leveraging data.
• Six+ years with Snowflake and Tableau; AI analytics tools a bonus.
• Strong translation of ambiguous asks into clear requirements.
• Excellent communicator across stakeholders, Product, BI, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature lifecycle for data management and reporting solutions.
• Translate needs into testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead intake, clarify requirements, and document business context.
• Mentor junior analysts and support UAT and delivery.
• Partner with BI, Engineering, and Architecture to confirm feasibility.
