Job summary

Brigham Young University’s School of Medicine seeks a Senior Data Analyst to lead analytic projects, develop descriptive and predictive models, and deliver dashboards informing accreditation, student performance, and program outcomes.

You will translate analytic findings into actionable insights, support continuous improvement, and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences while advancing the school’s mission and educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data analytics, institutional research, education, psychology, public health, computer science, or related field.
• 5 years of analyst experience.
• Experience analyzing data and preparing reports, briefs, dashboards, visualizations, or summaries for decision-making.
• Experience using quantitative methods to identify trends, patterns, comparisons, benchmarks, or performance indicators.
• Experience communicating data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze evidence related to educational effectiveness, accreditation expectations, strategic priorities, and mission fulfillment.
• Develop committee-ready visualizations, reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.
• Translate analytic findings into actionable insights that support curriculum evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure analyses are accurate, aggregated, and interpreted in context.
• Lead recurring analyses and reporting products that support accreditation monitoring and CQI.
