Job summary

The Building People, LLC has a full-time Senior Data Analyst position with the U.S. Department of Energy. The role supports CMEI leadership across all levels and works to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

The analyst will identify data sources, gather customer requirements, design data manipulation algorithms using R, Python, C++, and JavaScript, and build self-service tools for data consumers. Collaboration across teams will drive data quality and usable intelligence products.

Qualifications

• Experience performing data analysis and reporting across multiple data sources.
• Ability to collect customer requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Experience designing data manipulation algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Identify new data sources and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Collecting customer requirements.
• Determining technical issues.
• Designing algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, C++, JavaScript.
• Building data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data.
• Improving the quality of data use and usability by driving data quality management (metadata, lineage, definitions).
• Working with teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data to support Intelligence products.
• Researching and aiding in developing requirements for CMEI systems.
