Job summary

Staffmark Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to manage company-wide data systems and develop a single source of truth across the organization. You will lead data-driven initiatives to identify root causes and design improved business processes and solutions.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams, drive complex analyses in Excel and BI tools, and provide documentation and training to users. This is a contract opportunity located in Plano, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a technical field, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience working as a data/systems analyst, project management, process improvement, or similar role
• Ability to structure and perform complex analysis within Excel and related BI tools such as Tableau, Data Cubes, SAP BI, or similar databases

Responsibilities

Position Description

Requirements

• Experience with analyzing large sets of data, ensuring data integrity through operations management, and tracking and driving systems enhancement tasks and related projects.
• Ability to structure and perform complex analysis within Excel and related BI tools such as Tableau, Data Cubes, SAP BI, or similar databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex or technical concepts into simple terms to working-level teams as well as executives.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity, and managing competing priorities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and strong analytics experience.
• Willing to work 4-5 days in the office per HR guideline and travel up to 10% of your time.

Background/Experience
