Staffmark Group is seeking a Market Research Analyst to join our Plano, TX team on a fully on-site basis. You will forecast marketing and sales trends, conduct consumer research, and develop data-driven strategies.

Strong skills in Excel and dashboard tools will be essential as you collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to deliver actionable insights. The role requires 2–5 years in competitive analysis or market research, a Bachelor’s degree, and proven ability to translate data

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.
• Proven Excel, data analysis, and visualization skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex information.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence on adaptive initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
• Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
• Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
• Direct trained survey interviewers.

• Utilize in-house tools, Tableau and techniques, with a focus on Excel, to organize and interpret complex data sets.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and retail execution sales teams, to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay informed of market trends and emerging threats or opportunities.
• Assist in the development of competitive intelligence strategies and frameworks to enhance the company's competitive position.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in Excel, data analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in the consumer electronics industry or related sectors is preferred but not required.
• This role requires being onsite in Plano, TX office Monday through Friday.
