Qualifications

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst with major corporation in New York City. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays Remote. 12+ months Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr DOE

Must Haves:

• 1- Experience with HTML/Java/Scripting language on different devices - phone- Android/Apple, Mac, PC, etc.
• 2- Python and SQL Experience- will be coding in custom python apps
• 3 - Front end development - nice to have
• 4 - \"Eye for design \" - data visualization - team uses Looker. Tableau is comparable
• - Must have end to end project experience and have done so from start to finish, not just jumping in from the middle.

Job Description:

This role's primary responsibility is to support and build reporting automation for various business critical initiatives. This may include subscriber reporting and automated email sends; custom pipeline building and integration with our data and tech tools; Python scripting to build, extend, and run automated reports; quality testing and visualization; AI-assisted report summaries, and development of reporting automation in GitHub.

Responsibilities:

Respond to intake and document data requirements for subscriber reporting automation, including automated email sends and report configuration

• Build and extend reporting functionality in Python (automation, rendering, and related tooling) through GitHub-based development
• Create clean and understandable visualizations and email-friendly layouts
• Develop queries based on required business logic to ensure accurate outputs
• Incorporate data and output quality testing into daily pipelines
• Develop strong knowledge of the technical infrastructure that underlies subscriber data
• Contribute to the design of resilient reporting solutions that minimize data incidents

Requirements

• 5+ years of analytical experience
• 5+ years of scripting experience (python/R/Javascript), with meaningful use of Python for reporting automation workflows
• 3+ years using SQL and Looker (or equivalent) to develop, validate, or troubleshoot business logic in recurring reports and metrics deliverables
• Data visualization experience (Looker, Tableau)
• Experience with custom email reports (HTML/CSS) and email-client considerations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to haves:

• Experience building or prototyping tech from scratch
• Comfort using AI coding assistants to prototype reporting changes
• Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
• Familiarity with Airflow
