Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a Data & AI Consultant for a new Data & Analytics practice serving high-tech customers on the US West Coast. This senior, customer-facing role combines advisory leadership with hands-on solutioning across data engineering, data management and AI.

You will shape account data and AI agendas, run discovery sessions, design target architectures and work with CoE and delivery teams to transition solutions to production. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Senior Data & AI consultant with strong data engineering, governance and analytics experience.
• Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, design roadmaps and present to executives.
• Hands-on knowledge of GenAI, RAG, and enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Data & AI advisory: build trusted relationships with data/AI leaders and plan transformation roadmaps.
• Data engineering and platform solutioning: design ingestion, lakehouse/warehouse and streaming solutions.
• Governance: advise on metadata, quality, lineage, security and privacy for trusted data.
• Conversational analytics: enable text-to-SQL, semantic search and chat-based BI with governance.
• Delivery governance: oversee PoC to production with offshore/onsite delivery and cost control.
