Job summary

Savant Wealth Management is seeking a Lead Developer, Data, AI & Wealth Technology Platforms to unify data systems and power AI-enabled advisor insights. You will own data infrastructure connecting our wealth ecosystem to Azure and Fabric, delivering reliable pipelines, governance, and scalable solutions for client data, portfolio analytics, and AI-powered features.

Qualifications

Eight+ years hands-on data engineering experience.
Two+ years AI or advanced analytics engineering with real-world applications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Deep Azure expertise; not limited to other clouds.
Experience with end-to-end data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
Proven ability to integrate complex enterprise platforms via data pipelines.
Strong SQL and Python skills; Spark/PySpark valued.
Experience designing reliable, scalable data solutions and ownership.
Familiarity with agentic frameworks (e.g., CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph).
Applied knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, and vector retrieval.

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise-grade data pipelines in Azure and Fabric.
Integrate wealth platforms and enterprise systems (Tamarac, eMoney, Salesforce FS Cloud, tax apps).
Develop API-based and file-based ingestion using REST APIs, SFTP, vendor extracts, real-time feeds.
Create analytics-ready datasets using dimensional modeling and Data Vault.
Establish data quality, monitoring, SLAs, and automated alerting.
Ensure secure, compliant data movement with lineage, access controls, governance.
Prepare structured/unstructured data for AI/ML initiatives.
Build vectorized content pipelines, semantic search, retrieval-augmented workflows.
Collaborate with BI, Wealth, Compliance, Platform, Analytics to translate needs into solutions.
Evaluate options, own designs through production support; mentor teammates.
