Job summary

Summit Financial LLC is seeking a Senior Enterprise Platform Engineer to design, build, and support Azure-based enterprise apps. You will develop full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, and Python, while integrating with CRM, portfolio systems, and external platforms.

You will leverage AI-assisted coding tools, implement AI-enabled features with Azure OpenAI, and ensure security, reliability, and data quality across environments. Parsippany, NJ based, full-time role.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years on Azure.
• Strong React/Next.js with TypeScript experience.
• Python backend, APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats (JSON/XML).
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily work.
• Secure coding, OAuth/OIDC, and Entra ID knowledge.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain full-stack apps on Azure with React/Next.js and Python.
• Build REST and event-driven integrations across enterprise systems.
• Develop data mappings and integration workflows for real-time and batch processing.
• Use AI-assisted tools in design, testing, and documentation while reviewing code.
• Design AI-enabled features using Azure OpenAI and related services.
• Implement platform security controls including Entra ID and Key Vaults.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps; IaC with Bicep/Terraform.
• Establish observability with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Create architecture docs, API specs, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA and fixes.
• Contribute to reusable components and AI-assisted development practices.
