Job summary

The Northern Trust Company is seeking a senior AI/Data Integration leader to design, build, and own production-grade generative AI systems on Azure AI Foundry. You will drive secure, scalable data pipelines and governance, collaborating with architecture, data platform, and risk teams to enable enterprise AI across portfolio management and client insights.

You will mentor engineers and product managers while shaping the end-to-end data integration roadmap and partner with vendors to optimize

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, and data integration tools.
• Hands-on experience building LLM / GenAI applications production grade AI patterns like MCP, Agentic AI, RAG, NLP2SQL etc.
• Solid SQL and PostgreSQL skills; experience with vector databases (PGVector, Pinecone, Neo4j).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of client-facing AI capabilities and integrations in dashboards and front ends.
• Oversee data integration across enterprise AI framework with architecture and data platform teams.
• Architect and implement data pipelines merging structured and unstructured data for AI/ML use cases.
• Collaborate with AI consulting, data scientists, and risk teams to define data requirements for AI models.
