Job summary

Interlink Cloud Advisors is seeking a Senior Data & AI Engineering Consultant to design and deliver modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure and Fabric. This client-facing role focuses on discovery, architecture, and end-to-end solution delivery.

You will work across lakehouse, data warehouse, and analytics stores, enable multiple compute engines, ensure governance and security, and produce reusable datasets for BI, analytics and AI use cases.

Qualifications

• Experience designing analytics platforms on Azure and Fabric for client delivery.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for analytical workloads.
• Hands-on Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) and/or KQL experience.
• Experience applying software engineering practices to data solutions.
• Experience building reliable data pipelines with orchestration and monitoring.
• Knowledge of data quality practices and governance basics.
• Familiar with Power BI semantic modeling to support analytics delivery.
• Understanding of security and governance concepts for data platforms.
• Strong communication to align stakeholders in client environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery to understand goals and constraints and deliver a plan.
• Design data lake, lakehouse, data warehouse architectures on Azure and Fabric.
• Implement ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Fabric and Azure data services.
• Integrate data from operational systems and external sources into curated datasets.
• Build analytics-ready data models and reusable patterns.
• Enable compute engines (SQL, Spark, Spark SQL, and KQL) on shared datasets.
• Prepare governed data products for BI, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Establish data quality, testing, monitoring, and resiliency.
• Design security, governance, and access controls across Azure and Fabric.
• Produce design documents and enable adoption.
