Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers across the data and AI spectrum, owning architecture, leading design decisions, and delivering end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, embed with customer staffs, and drive adoption of Databricks’ platform while ensuring secure, scalable solutions and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI models.
• Ability to deliver technical projects with measurable outcomes.
• Travel to customers 20% of the time.
• Databricks Certification.
