Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join their team in Spokane, WA. This remote position requires a licensed PE with expertise in dam safety evaluations and client collaboration.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering. Responsibilities include performing inspections, conducting risk analysis workshops, and mentoring junior staff. The compensation ranges from $165,000 to $250,000, with a full benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience including dam safety evaluations.
• FERC-approved Independent Consultant or CDSE experience preferred.
• Ability to conduct dam safety training and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety work including FERC inspections and reports.
• Lead PFMA and Level 2 Risk Analysis workshops.
• Manage clients, projects, and deliverables.
