Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment across the dairy processing facility. You will support pasteurization, filling, packaging, and refrigeration operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.

The role requires mechanical and hydraulic system knowledge, a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing maintenance, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair boilers, pumps, compressors, filters, tanks, and other equipment in machine rooms.
• Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and components.
• Service and repair pasteurizing equipment to ensure food safety and quality.
• Maintain and repair automated conveyors, case handling systems, filling equipment, and packaging machinery.
• Maintain and repair blow molding equipment used in production operations.
• Service and repair high- and low-pressure plumbing, piping, and vacuum systems.
• Fabricate, modify, and build components to support operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level using schematics and blueprints.
• Provide training and guidance to new maintenance team members on safe practices.
