Job summary

Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across its dairy production lines. The role focuses on reliability of processing, packaging, and utility systems with emphasis on reducing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The candidate should have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with dairy environments, and strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in dairy, food, or beverage environments preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair pasteurizers, homogenizers, CIP systems, and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain CMMS documentation for repairs and PMs.
• Follow safety protocols and GMPs; respond to emergency breakdowns as needed.
• Assist installation of new machinery and equipment and support upgrades.
