Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a capable plant operations leader to drive day-to-day performance, coordinate process improvements, and mentor supervisors and staff across production, engineering, and QA. You will manage safety, quality, and KPI delivery while partnering with multiple functions to sustain productivity and value stream efficiency.

The role requires an undergraduate degree and 5–8 years in a plant management capacity.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree required; 5–8 years in a plant management role preferred.
Strong leadership and ability to develop and lead teams to improve plant performance.
Experience with safety, quality, and KPI management in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in and lead training for supervisors, operators, and staff on manufacturing processes, control systems, and equipment to lift technical understanding of assets.
Support production management to meet or exceed QA standards and specifications.
Manage health, safety, and well-being of team members; drive EHS initiatives and training as scheduled.
Monitor production performance; develop and manage plant KPIs; lead regular meetings to address issues and align goals.
Drive cross-functional process improvements; coordinate change management and trials; share learnings across facilities.
