Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in Bridgeton, NJ seeks a manufacturing operations leader to analyze day-to-day performance, coordinate improvements, and build process capability across plant lines.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, FSQ, technical and R&D to advance productivity, reliability, and finished goods quality while driving value stream efficiencies. This role requires 5–8 years in a plant management role, an undergraduate degree, and strong leadership and safety focus;

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of management experience in a plant environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvements.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead training for supervisors, operators, and staff on processes and equipment.
• Support production management to meet QA standards.
• Manage health and safety and drive EHS initiatives.
• Report and improve safety culture and training.
• Develop and monitor plant KPIs and communicate results.
• Drive facility-wide process improvement projects.
• Coordinate change management and trials with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and other functions on new equipment and processes.
• Provide back-fill for Production Manager during holidays/absences.
• Participate in the management on-call system.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across DFA.
