Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide direction to maintenance staff, ensuring safe and efficient operations across facility equipment. You will prioritize daily work, coach team members, and uphold GMP and sanitation standards.

The role requires an undergraduate degree and 2–5 years of maintenance or supervisory experience, with knowledge of PLCs and MS Office. Travel up to 15% and a commitment to safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of maintenance or related experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience leading and following safety policies and procedures.
• Electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing licenses/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign daily jobs and work orders; oversee pass down issues and ensure efficient, safe operation.
• Ensure maintenance staff understands work practices and procedures.
• Assist maintenance manager to complete preventative maintenance work orders and daily issues.
• Support and implement preventative maintenance programs; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Serve as first point of contact for emergency maintenance requests.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of all plant equipment.
• Assist in developing procedures and policies for maintenance department.
• Maintain records using databases and CMMS; support root cause analysis on breakdowns.
