This role builds relationships, delivers education, and partners across the enterprise to create value for members and the cooperative. The Senior DBA develops industry-leading risk and financial management strategies, delivers insights, and leads programs that strengthen profitability while helping members navigate market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Dairy Science, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the dairy or agricultural industry with expertise in risk management, agricultural finance, consulting, insurance, marketing, or business management.
• Proven track record of consultative sales, business development, and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Land O’Lakes proprietary tools to deliver farm financial and risk management consulting services.
• Develop customized risk management strategies including DRP, LRP, forward contracting, and other tools.
• Develop and deliver thought leadership and educational material on farm risk and financial management.
• Translate complex market and financial information into actionable business decisions for dairy operators.
• Travel extensively within assigned territory to meet with members and stakeholders.
