Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Sr Cons Strat Initiatves to translate workforce strategy into actionable plans and deliverables. This role partners with HR, DAIO leaders, Learning, and Technology teams to drive workforce planning, transformation initiatives, and AI-skilling efforts aligned to business priorities.

Hybrid schedule with in-office days in Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC, requiring collaboration across functions to manage change, track KPIs, and support leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Strategy, Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years in workforce strategy, planning, consulting, or transformation roles.
• Strong analytical and consulting capabilities with senior-leader impact.
• Experience enabling change management and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic direction into detailed analyses, workforce plans, and outputs.
• Conduct demand, capacity, and skills assessments for SWP activities.
• Maintain workforce plans and models as priorities evolve.
• Develop data-driven insights and recommendations for leadership discussions.
• Provide consultative support using data and problem solving to inform decisions.
• Manage workplans, timelines, and deliverables for assigned streams.
• Support change management activities including communications and adoption planning.
• Assess people and organizational impacts and translate into actionable plans.
• Track milestones, KPIs, risks, and issues; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with HR, DAIO, Learning, and Technology for timely delivery.
