Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 finance functional experience, including hands-on D365 Finance configuration.
• Participation in at least two full implementation lifecycles, including financial migration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and banking, fixed assets, financial dimensions, and month-end close.
• Experience setting up legal entities and translating accounting and internal control requirements into system configuration.
• Ability to reconcile migrated balances and operational postings, diagnose functional issues, and explain solutions clearly to accounting users.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance discovery and fit-gap sessions, document business requirements, and apply Komline’s common finance template to each deployment.
• Configure general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management, fixed assets, financial dimensions, and related workflows within the agreed scope.
• Establish financial configurations for new legal entities, including fiscal calendars, posting profiles, number sequences, and applicable intercompany processes.
• Partner with Finance to define account and dimension mappings, approval controls, tax requirements, and financial reporting needs.
• Own functional migration mappings and reconciliation criteria for finance data; validate master data, balances, and open transactions.
• Create and execute finance test scenarios covering P2P, O2C, bank reconciliation, and period close; coordinate sign-off and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Project Accounting and Manufacturing Costing Lead to validate postings to GL and support consolidated close readiness.
• Develop role-based training materials and operating procedures; train controllers and site staff on deployed processes.
• Prepare finance cutover activities, validate opening balances, support first close, and hand over to support.
• Maintain configuration records and estimate effort; flag resource conflicts and scope changes across deployments.
• Ensure finance users can execute core processes and that new sites complete their first close with documented procedures.

This Opportunity

Komline is seeking a Senior D365 Finance Implementation Lead to lead the finance workstream for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance deployments across new and existing legal entities. This role will configure financial processes, guide controllers and accounting teams through testing and adoption, and establish accurate opening balances and repeatable close procedures.

Working alongside a dedicated Project Accounting and Manufacturing Costing Lead, this individual will ensure operational costs and transactions flow accurately into the general ledger. The role will partner with the ERP Platform Manager, D365 program leadership, functional specialists, data engineer, and site subject matter experts as part of an internal implementation team targeting five to six deployments annually, including concurrent projects and acquisition integrations.

The initial focus will be implementations and post-go-live stabilization. D365 program leadership will coordinate delivery plans, while the ERP Platform Manager will own platform priorities and governance. An external service provider will manage ongoing production support and selected technical operations, and the data engineer will lead migration execution. Responsibilities may expand to platform improvements and ongoing support as the deployment portfolio evolves.

• Create and execute finance test scenarios covering purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, bank reconciliation, and period close. Coordinate business sign-off and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with the Project Accounting and Manufacturing Costing Lead to validate project and production postings to the general ledger, resolve reconciliation issues, and support consolidated close readiness.
• Develop role-based training materials and operating procedures. Train controllers, accounting staff, and site super-users on deployed processes.
• Prepare finance cutover activities, validate opening balances, support the first close after go-live, and transfer documentation and outstanding issues to the support provider.
• Maintain configuration records and work items, estimate finance delivery effort, and flag resource conflicts and scope changes across overlapping deployments.
• Ensure finance users can execute and reconcile core processes, opening balances receive business approval, controls operate as designed, and new sites complete their initial close using documented procedures.

Qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications or an accounting qualification.
