Job summary

Komline is seeking a Business System Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to support the implementation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. You will work with a team of administrators, developers, and partners to resolve user issues, gather requirements, configure systems, and train users across multiple sites.

The role involves regression testing, UAT, upgrades, and change management in a manufacturing-focused environment, with travel to Komline locations up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in IT application support or ERP support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and service requests.
• Manage and triage tickets in the IT service management system, collaborating with users and the System Administrator to resolve incidents.
• Assist with user onboarding and training, providing guidance to support new users and processes.
• Develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.
• Support configuration and maintenance of system settings, workflows, and security roles.
• Coordinate with developers and external partners to support integrations, extensions, and customizations.
• Participate in regression testing, UAT, and post-deployment validation.
• Assist with system upgrades including user communications and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with CAB to review and deploy updates and new functionality.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, changes, and deployments.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements and long-term solutions.
• Stay current on Microsoft releases and assess impact on configurations and processes.
• Support reporting with Power BI and Excel add-ins.
• Document requirements and conduct gap analyses with stakeholders.
• Ensure configurations align with business processes and compliance.
• Travel to Komline locations to support deployments and site adoption.

This Opportunity

Komline is seeking a Business System Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to support the implementation, daily operation, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations across our growing organization.

The Business System Analyst will work closely with the Dynamics 365 System Administrator, business stakeholders, developers, and external partners to resolve user issues, support system changes, and improve business processes. This role will combine application support with requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and user training as Komline continues to standardize and optimize systems across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and service requests.
• Manage and triage tickets in the IT service management system. Collaborate with business users and the Dynamics 365 System Administrator to prioritize and resolve incidents.
• Assist with user onboarding and training, providing functional guidance to support new users and processes.
• Develop and maintain training materials, quick-reference guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Support the configuration and maintenance of system settings, workflows, and security roles in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate with developers and external partners to support integrations, extensions, and customizations.
• Participate in regression testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Assist with system upgrades, including user communications, testing, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to support the review, testing, and deployment of system updates, patches, and new functionality through established change control procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and deployments.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements and long-term solutions.
• Stay current on Microsoft releases and updates to assess their impact on system configurations and business processes.
• Support financial and operational reporting by assisting users with Power BI dashboards, Excel add-ins, and other data extraction tools.
• Partner with business stakeholders to document requirements, perform gap analyses, and identify enhancements within Dynamics 365.
• Ensure system configurations align with established business processes and compliance requirements.
• Travel to Komline locations to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployments and site adoption.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in IT application support or enterprise resource planning (ERP) support.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of incident management and change control processes, including frameworks such as ITIL.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft tools and environments, including Power Platform, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate differences in business needs across stakeholder groups.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployments across Komline locations.
