Job summary

You will participate in regular meetings, handle specialized equipment, and ensure accuracy in genetic testing workflows with high diligence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field required.
• 3+ years in a cytogenetics lab.
• ASCP Cytogenetic Technologist certification required.
• Licensure/certification maintenance hours as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and cultures for cytogenetic testing (FISH and karyotyping).
• Maintain and record data, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Participate in lab meetings and stay updated on procedures.
• Perform microscopy and analysis with high accuracy.
• Develop and revise lab protocols for improved methods.
• Operate lab equipment and ensure safety compliance.
