Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree meeting CLIA requirements for a High-Complexity Laboratory Director.
• ABMGG Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics (CCG) or LGG; Florida licensure required.
• Five years in a related laboratory field, including two years in clinical cytogenetics.

Aufgaben

• Provides scientific, technical, and operational oversight for the Cytogenetics Department.
• Independently reviews, interprets, and signs out cytogenetic cases; consults with pathologists and genetic counselors.
• Ensures testing accuracy and regulatory compliance with CLIA, CAP, ACMG, and guidelines; manages workflow design.
• Directs staff training, competency assessment, and QA/PI programs; oversees test validation and implementation.
• Exercises independent clinical judgment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
