Job summary

Center for Internet Security (CIS) seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer in its Sales Solutions Engineering team to support U.S. SLTT and Education customers across the CIS portfolio.

You will own onboarding, solution design, demos, and customer enablement, while partnering with CIS Services Account Executives to protect revenue and drive adoption across our managed services and cloud offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in technical or business discipline.
• 5+ years in sales/solutions engineering or technical account management in cybersecurity with pre- and post-sales responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of MDR, MXDR, NDR/IDS, DNS-layer security; direct CrowdStrike/Sophos experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals and cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of US SLTT government environments and public-sector sales cycles.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers; proactive customer communication.
• Excellent presentation and remote-demos skills (Teams, real-time apps).
• Salesforce and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Willingness to travel; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME across CIS portfolio including MDR, MXDR, MDBR/ MDBR+, and CIS Hardened Images.
• Provide hybrid pre-sales and post-sales engineering support from discovery to onboarding and issue resolution.
• Own the onboarding experience for assigned accounts to accelerate value and protect revenue.
• Collaborate with Sales Solutions Engineers and TAM to drive opportunities and renewals.
• Mentor teammates and develop enablement content to shorten ramp time.
• Deliver professional demonstrations and articulate value of foundational cybersecurity.
