Job summary

MGT Impact Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Pre Sales Engineer in Livermore, CA. You will lead pre-sales activities, deliver on-site engagements, and provide architectural oversight for large, complex projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.

You will promote MSP solutions, including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/MDR, and cloud VoIP offerings, while collaborating with sales and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes for government and education clients.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in an applicable technology field.
• Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience.
• Ability to design and implement large-scale solutions including budgetary and detailed cost estimating.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; translate customer requirements into BOM and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtual; work with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships and contribute to proposals.
• Attend on-site customer meetings providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures; travel as required.
• Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design and integration, and maintaining technical leadership through all phases.
• Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and after implementation to guarantee seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
• Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MSP solutions including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
