Job summary

Cadmus seeks a Federal Operating Group leader to drive cybersecurity programs for government and utility clients, overseeing delivery, business development, and strategic growth. You will mentor staff, engage with executives, and ensure high-quality service across critical infrastructure sectors.

The role requires broad cyber expertise, strong communication, and the ability to lead in a matrixed organization, with occasional travel to support federal and utility accounts.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Information and SCADA Systems.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience as a lead cybersecurity expert supporting major contracts or programs for government and/or utility clients.
• Minimum 10 years of staff and team management experience.
• Experience with infrastructure sector clients (water preferred) and familiarity with EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, utilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical expert overseeing cybersecurity projects and programs, including technical, financial, operations, and reporting.
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff, partners, and subcontracts to execute client engagements and win new business.
• Serve as the company’s cybersecurity expert for government and commercial clients and as a thought leader at external events.
• Ensure high quality and responsive delivery of services under contracts and achieve exceptional client ratings.
• Help clients secure SCADA, ICS, and OT environments in utility and infrastructure operations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and translate findings into operational impacts for government and utility stakeholders.
• Lead initial evaluation of penetration testing and resolutions to enhance cyber posture.
• Conduct ICSS/OT network mapping, secure configuration reviews, and incident response planning.
