Job summary

Cadmus seeks a highly experienced Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Leader to guide federal and utility cybersecurity programs, lead client delivery, and drive new business opportunities. You will collaborate with business development, bid, and marketing to expand Cadmus’ portfolio, drawing on deep relationships with civilian agencies and utilities.

The role requires senior-level technical leadership, staff management, and the ability to secure government clearances.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant field, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Information and SCADA Systems
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience serving as a lead cybersecurity expert on major contracts or programs for government and/or utility clients
• Minimum 10 years of staff and team management experience
• Consulting or other relevant experience in the infrastructure sector with preference for water sector government clients such as EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, or utilities
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• One or more relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+, CISM, CEH
• Experience building, leading and mentoring teams of consulting staff
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust
• Ability to earn U.S. Government security clearance and/or Suitability – U.S. citizenship required
• Occasional travel required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical expert overseeing cybersecurity projects and programs, including technical, financial, operations, and reporting
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of Cadmus staff, partners, and subcontracts to execute client engagements and win new business
• Serve as the company’s cybersecurity expert for government and commercial clients and as a thought leader at external events
• Ensure high quality and responsive delivery of services under Cadmus contracts and achieve exceptional client ratings for services performed under major contracts
• Help clients secure SCADA, industrial control systems (ICS), and broader OT environments used in utility and infrastructure operations
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and translate findings into operational impacts for key government and utility stakeholders
• Lead initial evaluation of penetration testing and identify resolutions to enhance cyber posture
• Conduct ICS/OT network mapping, secure configuration reviews, segmentation assessments, and incident response planning for government/utility environments
• Evaluate or implement cybersecurity controls for infrastructure systems including remote access security and monitoring/logging for OT
• Provide incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and response support to government and utility environments
• Support and advise clients on cybersecurity governance, policies, training
• Support and lead business development efforts with Cadmus’ Business Development team and key accounts
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff in technical delivery
