Job summary

Adept Force Group Incorporated seeks a Cybersecurity Lead to support modernization and compliance for DoD PMO initiatives. The role requires guiding strategy, RMF execution in agile environments, and engagement with senior leadership from a hybrid telework footprint in Crystal City, VA.

The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years in cybersecurity, possess a Secret clearance, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership to drive secure systems across Army modernization programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• 12+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity.
• Experience as ISSM or ISSO on DoD programs.
• Experience executing RMF in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to brief senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply information security technologies to ensure CIA of assets per standards.
• Track regulatory changes and update security policies and compliance measures.
• Develop security engineering documents to support modernization efforts.
• Provide expertise across cybersecurity engineering activities per frameworks and best practices.
• Define and document current and target cybersecurity architecture for modernization.
• Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity guidelines and develop risk management plans.
• Review remediation plans for vulnerabilities and develop POA&Ms.
