Job summary

Dark Wolf seeks a Cybersecurity Lead/ISSM to establish and maintain a robust security posture for a government information system. The role acts as the primary security advisor to the PM, AO and ISO, and oversees an ISSO team to ensure compliance with Air Force security requirements.

The position is hybrid on-site, based out of Herndon, VA or Colorado Springs, CO, United States, with a focus on RMF and cloud security across DoD programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as an ISSM or 7 years' experience as a Sr. ISSO
• Subject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment
• Extensive experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike)
• Experience with Infrastructure and Cloud Security tools (Terraform/Ansible, Github)
• At least one of CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP
• Strong experience with DoD/AF RMF
• Proficiency with a major cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Advise PM, AO, and ISO on security posture and compliance
• Oversee an ISSO team and ensure compliance with AF security requirements
• Establish and maintain holistic security throughout the system lifecycle
• Enforce DoD/AF RMF policies and procedures
• Coordinate with security stakeholders in a hybrid on-site environment
