Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Engineering team and help design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise security technologies across a large, complex environment. The role focuses on Secure Service Edge (SSE), Zero Trust, and Zscaler technologies, while collaborating across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security initiatives.

Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT or related field preferred.
- Extensive hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience with SSE/SASE and Zero Trust.
- Strong experience with Zscaler technologies: ZIA, ZPA, ZCC, ZDX; SSL/TLS inspection.
- Proficient networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN, PKI/certificates.
- Experience leading security implementations from architecture through handoff.

- Own complex technical issues with evidence-based root-cause analysis.
- Translate architecture into scalable technical solutions with risk considerations.
- Lead cross-functional discussions across cybersecurity, network, cloud, and identity teams.
