Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer for the Starshield program. The role focuses on hands-on defense, vulnerability discovery, and active threat response across a global satellite network.

You will implement defense strategies, run red-team exercises, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen intrusion detection and incident response capabilities. A Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, or a similar field with 5+ years of production cybersecurity experience; OR 7+ years in production cybersecurity.
• Experience implementing adversary detection and incident response.
• Active Top Secret security clearance preferred or required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to active threats and be prepared for rapid containment.
• Implement Starshield cyber defense strategy and conduct red-team exercises.
• Conduct vulnerability discovery and bug hunts using AI tools.
• Improve incident discovery and response in collaboration with internal teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deploy security features and detection tools.
