Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer for 100% on-site work at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. Active Top Secret clearance eligibility is required, with DoD IA policy and military systems knowledge.

Responsibilities include leading groups, developing cyber risk mitigation plans, and delivering MBSE-based cybersecurity analyses across combat systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security engineering, IAT Level II or higher, and strong communication skills to present complex concepts

Qualifications

Noted experience in cybersecurity requirements development, threat analysis, engineering, architecture, or policy development.
Understand cybersecurity, DoD IA policies, and military system specs for land and afloat/tactical systems.
Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral presentations.

Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, and guidance for combat systems.
Lead research, analysis and coordination for DoD cyber assurance and policy efforts.
Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
Design, analyze, and document cybersecurity system engineering for combat systems.
Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analyses, threat analyses, and risk mitigation.
Use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
