Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, seated 100% on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. The role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship for security access.

The candidate will develop cybersecurity requirements and risk mitigation plans for combat systems, lead working groups, and ensure compliance with DoD IA policies while communicating complex analyses clearly.

Qualifications

• Five years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or higher certification per DoD 8570.01 or successor.
• Privileged users must have JPAS IT level-1 designation and T-5/T-R adjudication, with OS/CE training within six months of start.
• Knowledge of DoD IA policies, and ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, risk analyses, and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Develop MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
