Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a strong background in DoD cybersecurity policy, risk assessment, and systems engineering for naval combat systems.

BS in Cybersecurity preferred; five to ten years of related experience; IAT II or higher certification. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $195,000 per year, with ESOP and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01 or successor.
• Understanding of DoD IA policies for Land Based and afloat/tactical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis and coordination across multiple classification levels.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform analyses of policy gaps for combat systems and IT policy.
• Develop documentation of cybersecurity requirements, gaps, threat analyses, and risk mitigations.
