Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship to access classified information.

Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $195,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials. The ideal candidate will have DoD IA policy experience, CSCI requirements development for combat systems, and strong communication skills to present findings at multiple

Qualifications

• 5 years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or 10 years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01 or successor.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility; US Citizenship required to obtain clearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral presentations on cybersecurity and DoD policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies to meet emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Develop or use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
