Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a senior Security Engineer III to design, implement, and continuously enhance the organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure. The role leads security engineering efforts across identity, endpoint, cloud and data protection, with a focus on automation and scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Retail Systems, Legal, Risk, HR and business partners, owning end-to-end security controls and improving detection, response, and prevention across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity or related IT experience.
• Ownership of enterprise security platforms from design to operation.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and cloud/endpoint security.
• Experience with security automation, scripting, API integrations, and efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, email, and data protection.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents.
• Lead security projects and drive collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Administer identity controls (SSO, MFA, PAM) and data protection measures.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and maintain security policies and documentation.
