Job summary

MAP SSG is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to develop and maintain our cybersecurity infrastructure across hybrid environments, with emphasis on cloud, AI, and data protection. You will lead security design, implement controls, and coordinate with IT, legal, and compliance teams.

You will manage identity and access, monitor for threats, drive incident response, and guide secure adoption of cloud and AI services while keeping aligned with regulatory requirements and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or information security.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or similar role.
• Basic secure software development knowledge.
• Strong networking concepts (routing, firewalls, NAT, proxies, SASE).
• Familiarity with data loss concepts and strategies.
• SIEM log analysis experience.
• Certs such as Microsoft/CISSP/CISM/Palo Alto/Splunk/Cisco are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and agentic security strategy, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with IT and AI teams to onboard AI use cases securely (DevSecOps, CSPM).
• Design and maintain cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) incl. Azure/AWS/Office 365.
• Build continuous audit and alerting in cloud environments using native tools.
• Develop and implement IAM strategies for cloud environments.
• Monitor access permissions and enforce least privilege.
• Establish data protection policies using M365 and Purview technologies.
• Lead incident response and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Implement logging and monitoring for real-time security events.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Collaborate with legal and IT to document and report incidents.
