Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Security Engineer III to design, implement, and continuously improve our cybersecurity infrastructure. You will lead security engineering efforts across cloud, endpoint, identity, and data protection, partnering with IT, Risk, Legal, and operations.

As a senior individual contributor, you will own security controls end-to-end, drive automation, and mentor peers. This hybrid role requires in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday at our Store Support Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, CS, or engineering.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity or related IT engineering roles.
• Ownership of enterprise security platforms from design to operations.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and cloud security.
• Experience implementing security technologies in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security solutions across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, email, and data protection.
• Monitor alerts, investigate threats, and coordinate remediation activities.
• Administer identity controls (SSO, MFA, PAM) and data protection measures.
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives and provide audit evidence.
• Lead security projects and mentor team members; communicate security requirements to partners.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as required.
