Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Colorado is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and harden security for classified enclaves and mission systems. You will drive RMF accreditation, author SSPs and POA&Ms, and work closely with program engineers to ensure continuous monitoring and incident response.

You will lead vulnerability management, automate repetitive tasks, and mentor junior staff while supporting mission schedules in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
• DoD/IC RMF experience with SSP, POA&M, and continuous monitoring.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility and SAP access.
• Hands-on in Linux/Windows hardening, IAM, PKI, and cloud gov clouds.
• Experience with RMF control implementation and artifact development.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and harden security across classified enclaves and labs.
• Drive accreditation through RMF to ATO and continuous monitoring.
• Defend the environment with vulnerability management and patching.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with SOC and owners.
• Automate compliance tasks with scripting and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver secure mission systems.
