Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to hands-on build and defend secure systems for classified enclaves and mission ground environments. You will drive accreditation, implement security controls, and work with program engineers to keep systems compliant.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and harden security architecture across classified enclaves and lab environments.
• Drive RMF accreditation, author SSPs and risk assessments, and maintain ATO/ATC status.
• Defend the environment with vulnerability management, patching, and log review.
• Respond to incidents, investigate and coordinate corrective actions with system owners.
• Automate compliance tasks with scripting and tooling to streamline evidence.
• Collaborate with program engineers to deliver secure systems on mission schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards and playbooks.
