Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a highly technical Senior Network Security Leader to architect and manage our cryptographic governance program. You will oversee enterprise cryptographic infrastructure, secure communications, and compliance frameworks while serving as CAM for nationwide assets.

You will direct the end-to-end lifecycle of cryptographic products, coordinate with NSA and CNSSI directives, and drive modernization of KMI with OTAD and quantum-resistant strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in COMSEC, Network Security, or related fields with 3+ years in leadership within defense/federal environments.
• Proven mastery configuring and operating Type-1 cryptographic products (TACLANE KG-175, KIV-77, KGV-72) and CSfC architectures.
• Deep knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI directives.
• Experience driving crypto modernization transitions (sunsetting EKMS, automated key delivery).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define operational charters, SOPs, and secure distribution ledgers for COR.
• Lead Next-Gen cryptographic tech implementation (CSfC, TACLANE-ES, data links).
• Direct COMSEC custodians for audits and SAVs across sub-accounts.
• Interface with NSA CNSSI policies to translate mandates into roadmaps.
• Maintain accountability for generation, storage, distribution, and destruction of classified material per NSA policy.
• Lead COMSEC incident investigations and coordinate inspections.
• Lead a geographically dispersed team of cryptographic engineers and custodians.
