Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex systems engineering efforts supporting cryptologic and cybersecurity missions. You will drive requirements development, analyze alternatives, and guide integration for emerging technologies while providing technical leadership to government stakeholders and engineering teams.

You will work on architectures, ICDs, and data models, ensuring NSA standards are met and risk is mitigated.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years experience or advanced degrees with fewer years
Alternative degrees in CS/Math/Physics with equivalent experience acceptable
DIFFERENTIAL CALC/TRIPLE 5 of 18 technical areas for non-ABET programs is required
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
Proven technical leadership in complex systems engineering
Experience with alternatives analysis, value modeling, and risk management
Ability to work in a SCIF and travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities

Lead requirements analysis, solution design, and value modeling for cryptologic and cybersecurity systems
Develop CONOPs, system architectures, ICDs, and technical documentation
Lead integration, testing, and evaluation per NSA standards
Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies
Develop XML schemas, metadata models, and data element dictionaries
Incorporate reliability, supportability, and security into development processes
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate knowledge transfer
