Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to design, engineer, analyze and assess key elements of the cybersecurity program. The role supports governance, risk, compliance, identity, data security and more, with a 24/7 on-call rotation in some teams.

The candidate will serve as a SME and lead for project delivery, mentor junior staff, and work with incident management. Requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an advanced cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or SANS 700+ Series with 9+ years of related work experience.
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes.
• Expert Troubleshooting skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, problem solving, judgement and decision-making.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and monitor cyber security elements for Intermountain’s program.
• Lead risk analyses, policy development and corrective actions.
• Monitor cyber threats, perform remediation and incident response.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidance for security practices.
• Architectural design and documentation of security standards.
