Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity-Consultant to design, engineer and assess core cybersecurity program elements. The role supports governance, risk and compliance, IAM, data and cloud security, and architectural standards.

The consultant will mentor staff, lead project delivery, and act as a subject-matter expert across multiple cybersecurity domains with a focus on quality, timeliness and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced cybersecurity certs (CISSP/SANS) preferred.
• 9–10 years of related work experience.
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, analyze and assess key elements of the cybersecurity program.
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities, IAM, data/security.
• Lead incident response/forensics and remediation efforts.
• Develop policy, guidance and standards; document architecture.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project delivery tasks.
