Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity-Consultant to design, engineer, and assess critical security elements for the organization. You will support governance, risk, IAM, data and cloud security, and architectural standards while mentoring peers.

The role requires expert knowledge across cybersecurity disciplines, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or SANS 700+ Series.
• 9-10 years of related work experience.
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes.
• Expert Troubleshooting skills.
• Expert skill in analysis, attention to detail, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making.
• Expert skill in communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, analyze and/or assess key elements of Intermountain’s cybersecurity program.
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities, IAM, data/security areas.
• Serve as lead and consultant on incident and task management for cybersecurity services.
• Mentor lower-level staff and coordinate project delivery tasks.
• Respond to on-call rotations and manage upgrades/repairs as assigned.
• Prioritize/execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
