Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to design, engineer, and assess key elements of our cybersecurity program. The role supports governance, risk and compliance, IAM, data, endpoint and network security, and cyber architecture.

As a senior SME, you will mentor teammates, lead project delivery tasks, and respond to incidents while ensuring adherence to policies and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree through an accredited institution, or an advanced cybersecurity certification such as the CISSP or SANS 700+ Series
• 9-10 years of related work experience
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes
• Master’s degree through an accredited institution, or multiple advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or SANS 700+ Series
• 7+ years of demonstrated Cyberark (Idira) experience
• Expert understanding of information security related regulations, such as HIPAA Privacy and Security, PCI-DSS
• Expert knowledge of scripting and automation
• Expert understanding of information security related regulations

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, analyze and/or assess key elements of Intermountain’s cybersecurity program
• Support governance, risk and compliance activities, identity and access management, data, endpoint and application security, infrastructure and network security, cyber architecture and standards, reporting and analytics, project management and business liaising
• Serve as a lead and consultant to other team members on incident and task management
• Act as principal domain expert and key team lead for project delivery tasks
• Receive and respond to incoming calls/pages/emails; schedule and perform improvements, upgrades and repairs
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation or swing/night shifts; prioritize tasks under pressure
• Mentor lower-level professionals; work with stakeholders for effective cyber services delivery
• Ensure policy, procedure and guidance documentation is current and actionable
