Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to design, engineer and assess key elements of the cybersecurity program. You will support governance, identity and access management, data and cloud security, and architecture across Intermountain’s cyber functions.

The role requires thoughtful leadership, mentoring, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree through an accredited institution or an advanced cybersecurity certification such as CISSP or SANS 700+ Series.
• 9-10 years of related work experience.
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes.
• Expert Troubleshooting skills.
• Expert analysis, attention to detail, problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making.
• Expert communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical configuration, engineering, management and monitoring activities as needed.
• Perform risk analysis, corrective action planning and policy development.
• Support cyber threat monitoring, remediation and incident response activities.
• Develop policy, procedure and guidance documentation.
• Architectural design, standards and documentation.
• Administer servers and write automation scripts.
• Compile data, analyze and report findings.
• Support cloud operations, cloud security and DevSecOps.
• Lead and mentor team members on incident and task delivery.
